youthrive is the Upper Midwest affiliate of PeaceJam, an international education program founded by 12 Nobel Peace Prize Laureates that provides unique, standards-based, age-appropriate curriculums and program models for youth in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. In all youthrive programs, young people become local agents of peaceful change through service-learning projects they design and lead to address needs they have identified in their own communities.

Our fundraising services helped double annual gift and grant support each of the first four years, ultimately raising a total of $6.392M to expand out of school time programs using a service-learning model featuring Nobel Laureates to engage youth and improve academic achievement.  Services provided include grant writing, major gifts, corporate sponsorship, board development, special events, strategic planning, operational and financial management.

Management of Operations and Finance

As the organization grew from predominantly a volunteer operation to engage fulltime staff, JPR Consulting provided interim executive leadership to manage bookkeeping, financial reporting and forecasting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, tax and other regulatory compliance reporting. Managed $1.024M earned revenue from program services.
